Breastfeeding vs Formula-feeding

There is no doubt that breast milk is the best for babies as it provides immunity and full nutrients to your baby. While it helps you save money, it’s also convenient as you don’t have to buy milk bottles and prepare anything to feed your baby. No bottles, no preparation hassles and no headache to spend. But there are also downsides of breastfeeding. One here is that moms would need to find a private area when breastfeeding in public as it would be a little bit uncomfortable. Also, moms should also follow a certain diet and avoid unwanted foods that could harm or affect baby’s health.

Formula-feeding on the other hand is good when you want to share task with your husband, when you want to rest and daddy will take over. It’s also good if you have long trips where you could bring few bottles in your baby diaper bag without feeling of discomfort when feeding the baby. Infant formula also provides nourishment for baby’s development, especially when it comes to their brain memory as they tend to be brighter as they grow. However, formula-feeding tend to be expensive and needs some preparation before you can feed the baby.

While there are some pros and cons for breastfeeding and formula-feeding, moms should be wise enough to know which one to choose. The most important thing here is that you must give importance not only to your baby but to yourself as well.
